SIA Timber Trade Development produces kiln-dried firewood. We want to be an innovative, sustainable and environmentally friendly company.
We buy logs from local forests, sort them by species and store them in a clean, dry yard where natural drying begins.
We split the logs into pieces 20–50 cm long or to the length the customer chooses. The cross-section is 8–15 cm.
The firewood stays in the kiln for about 4–6 days, depending on the species. Afterwards the moisture content is 10–18 %.
PVC or mesh bags in any size, as well as cardboard boxes. Most often 25–40 L mesh bags are chosen.
We deliver worldwide by truck and sea transport.
Our production follows a zero-waste policy: all wood residues are burned and the heat produced is used for drying. We support renewable energy, and our goal is to achieve zero CO₂ emissions in our production process by 2028.
